The cultural variety in Ecuador is quite vast with a number of indigenous groups. Some can trace their ancestry back to the Inca's and earlier groups which lived in the area now encompassing Ecuador. The last three pictures are of our end of trip meal of guinea pigs. Native to the Andes range these rodents are the same ones we like to purchase as pets and that love to run on those little wheels all day long. They taste like mild pork.
